Jayce Johnson, a four-star quarterback prospect hailing from Valdosta, Georgia, is set to enter his sophomore year of high school football this upcoming season.
Therefore, he actually has ample time to decide which university he will attend for college football, but a recent trip to Texas A&M had him prepared to finalize his choice.
He had always intended to commit early, and at Texas A&M, Johnson discovered all of what he was seeking.
He pledged to the Aggies on Monday.
"I had always known I would make a commitment. I'd been discussing it for some time. I wanted to finalize it before my junior year," Johnson said. Chad Simmons of Rivals It simply felt correct. "The surroundings make me think of home. It's a place where football is big, and it has a small-town feel—just like Valdosta. I truly felt a connection with the team members. I appreciate their spiritual approach, their dedication, and how they unite everyone," Johnson stated.
He also expressed great admiration for head coach Mike Elko and offensive coordinator Collin Klein. He held high regard for head coach Mike Elko and offensive coordinator Collin Klein.
