A mechanical Billy doll from the movie Saw III is anticipated to sell for anywhere from $30,000 to $60,000 (£22,300 to £44,600) during a horror collectibles sale.

The auction features over 1,000 items, such as Freddy Krueger's knife-covered glove from A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010) and a Ghostface mask from Scream (2022).

The Billy doll, part of the private collection belonging to filmmaker Darren Lynn Bousman, is recognized for the line "I want to play a game" and is utilized by serial killer John Kramer (Jigsaw) to communicate directions to his targets.

A standout item up for sale at the auction is a modified copy of the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis from Evil Dead II (1987), an old tome containing predictions, which is anticipated to sell for somewhere between $50,000 and $100,000 (£37,215 – £74,430).

A vintage prop includes a sculpture from Stanley Kubrick's 1980 classic film "The Shining," showing Jack Nicholson's role, Jack Torrance, holding an axe stained with blood.

This item has an estimated value of $6,000 (£4,465).

A notable feature is Tony Todd's gory outfit from *Candyman: Farewell To The Flesh* (1995), a movie that depicts his violent character eliminating anyone who calls upon him.

The outfit features Candyman's iconic hook and may sell for anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000 (£18,607 – £37,215).

This matches the pre-sale projection for the Slim Klown mask featured in Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988).

Additional items available for purchase include the ax used by Ewan McGregor's character Danny Torrance in Doctor Sleep (2019), as well as Bruce Campbell's chainsaw from his role as Ash Williams in the television series Ash vs. Evil Dead.

Brandon Alinger, COO of Propstore, stated: "Propstore is honored to showcase an extraordinary collection of horror relics."

Ranging from cherished underground classics to latest cinematic successes, these items and outfits highlight the imagination and skill that keep the genre alive.

This sale offers enthusiasts and collectors an opportunity to possess items that have frightened and excited viewers for many years.

The Propstore auction spanning three days is scheduled to occur in Los Angeles next September.
