Winners of Vermont Lottery prizes amounting to $499 or less may collect their reward at any licensed Vermont Lottery vendor or at the Vermont Lottery headquarters by showing the completed winning ticket for verification. For awards ranging from $500 to $5,000, claims must be made at any M&T Bank branch within Vermont when the Vermont Lottery office is open, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding official public holidays.
If the prize exceeds $5,000, the claim has to be submitted personally at the Vermont Lottery office. Along with signing your ticket, you should present a valid photo identification issued by the government, as well as a fully filled-out claim form.
