Cooking Tests
I began using the Neat set as my main cooking equipment. With the stockpot, I boiled water, cooked soups at a low boil, and mixed up Rice Krispies treats. Using the saucepan, I prepared store-bought macaroni and cheese, warmed up extra meals, and melted chocolate. Meanwhile, the skillet was used for frying eggs, grilling breads, and stir-frying veggies.

Additionally, I noticed that even though the handles have a silicone coating, they can become quite warm. I recommend using oven gloves when handling the pot.

Although I occasionally used my large wok a few times, the Alva Neat set usually met our requirements. Cleaning and Care
To maintain the Alva cookware, allow the pots to cool down once you've completed your meal and then clean them using warm, soapy water. I have discovered that most leftover food easily comes off. Nevertheless, the lids present some challenges when it comes to cleaning. I've noticed that sticky pasta cooking water tends to accumulate in the mesh sieve openings, and both the silicone and glass finishes are prone to mineral deposits from hard water.
