Microsoft has revealed plans to simplify the unpredictable reboot process with a new black screen replacing the iconic blue one, which has symbolized computing troubles for nearly three decades starting from the early '90s. This new black screen displays the message: "Your device encountered an issue and requires restarting." Users of Windows 11 24H2 devices can expect to see this change roll out over the coming months as part of an update aimed at making recovery smoother and quicker following such events. Even so, some longtime Windows users might continue experiencing anxiety tied to past encounters with the Blue Screen of Death. faulty software update Last July, when the issue spread globally, individuals began posting pictures of the infamous blue screen on their various social media platforms. ThisCrowdStrike incident led to flight cancellations at major airlines and affected operations across hospitals, retail outlets, and financial institutions. In response,Microsoft announced plans to implement "swift PC restoration" for devices unable to reboot properly. According toa blog post published on Wednesday,Micosoft stated,"These modifications are part of our ongoing initiative aimed at minimizing disruptions caused by unforeseen system resets."
