Delta's creator, Riley Testut, announced A fresh initiative has been launched: an iPhone adaptation of the Game Boy Camera. Dubbed Delta Camera, this independent application aims to provide all standard functionalities found in contemporary camera apps, complemented uniquely by a retro Game Boy aesthetic.

If you didn’t experience the Game Boy Camera during its release or missed out on using it, know that it boasted an impressive resolution of 128×112 pixels. It was capable of capturing photographs in monochrome as well as four distinct levels of grayscale.
Users of this device were able to capture both selfies and regular snapshots. The internal memory was capable of holding around 30 to 40 pictures, along with offering simple editing options such as stamps and filters. As expected from Nintendo, they incorporated an unusual feature where players could engage in minigames through a peculiar interface within the app. Additionally, one had access to musical elements for entertainment. Another creative aspect allowed individuals to assemble picture collages reminiscent of pixel art or craft mock identification documents. Ultimately, compatibility with the Game Boy Printer enabled printing out photographs so people could keep tangible copies of their captured moments.
Testut hasn't revealed all the specifics about the Delta Camera just yet, but we do know it will be compatible with any iPhone camera that offers manual exposure, zoom functionality, and complete Camera Control. For now, only patrons you can download the beta version of the app, with the official release scheduled for later this year.
The developer mentioned that the app replicates the original Game Boy Camera experience, which means users must supply their own ROM file.
