THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) -- On Thursday, one hundred children in Thomasville received new laptops for free!
AT&T along with Human I-T provided those items on Thursday afternoon at the Boys and Girls Club.
This substantial present assists in linking underprivileged households with the internet, providing them access to laptops they might not have been able to purchase on their own.
More good news:
Tiffany Davis, who leads resource development and marketing efforts, states that children shouldn’t be burdened with financial concerns. She emphasizes that they aim for students to concentrate on their education and equally partake in the digital realm as do their contemporaries.
You must consider the children who struggle with homework and reading. Providing these laptops isn't enough; it extends beyond that," Davis stated. "Once these kids return home to their parents, those parents can become more engaged in helping their children. This is where our role at the club somewhat concludes.
The laptops aren’t solely meant for the children; officials mention that their parents can utilize them as well!
