WASHINGTON (WNCN) — Amid ongoing tensions with Iran, several representatives from North Carolina within Congress have shared their perspectives on the recent U.S. military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Several legislators from North Carolina back President Trump's moves against Iran but are also keeping an eye on whether the truce between Israel and Iran remains intact.
Some delegates worry that Congress hasn't received a briefing yet and isn't more actively engaged.
The aforementioned legislators addressed the issue on Tuesday:
Rep. Greg Murphy (R), North Carolina District 3
Rep. Valerie Foushee (D) North Carolina 4
Rep. Richard Hudson (Republican), North Carolina District 9
Rep. Deborah Ross (D), North Carolina District 2
Rep. Pat Harrigan (R), North Carolina District 10
