Hawaiian Airlines stated they are dealing with a cybersecurity problem that has impacted certain parts of their information technology systems.
The company did not specify which information technology systems were impacted, however, they stated in an announcement published on their website that they have "consulted with the relevant authorities and specialists" to aid in examining and addressing the issue. They also mentioned that flights continued to operate safely and according to schedule on Thursday.
The Federal Aviation Administration stated that there have been no effects on safety.
Alaska Airlines acquired Hawaiian Airlines last year.
