Thousands of students in Queensland has been affected by a Gmail issue that prevented parents from getting their Term Two reports.
The report cards were mistakenly flagged as spam. Google 's mailing inbox.
A representative from the Department of Education stated that the problem was limited to individuals using Google mail—also known as Gmail—accounts.
"The department is collaborating with Google to address the problem urgently," stated the spokesperson.
The problem seems to be limited to parents and caregivers who use Gmail accounts. Google has flagged these emails as spam.
'Parents and guardians who use the QParents application can continue to view report cards as usual.'
'The functionality and access to OneSchool remain unaffected.'
The Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Google for remarks.
Some schools flagged the issue with parents on social media, including Bundaberg North State School and Talara Primary College P&C Association.
Parents swiftly called for composure, with one individual expressing gratitude to the Talara college Facebook page for keeping them informed.
Someone else remarked: "We'll catch them whenever we catch them."
