The Yellowstone prequel series "1923" has been streaming on Paramount Plus, continuing the story of the subsequent generation of Duttons following Taylor Sheridan's "1883."
The show features Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren portraying Jacob and Cara Tuttow, who strive to safeguard their ranch from developers such as the imposing Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dalton).
The second season consists of seven episodes, featuring a concluding two-hour episode set to be broadcast on April 6.

Given all the twists in the recent episodes, audiences are eager to discover if the show will progress to a third season.

Has season 3 of 1923 been confirmed yet?
The show hasn’t been renewed for a third season yet, but Brandon Sklenar, who plays Spencer Dutton, indicated that there’s still more of the 1923 era Dutton family tale left to be told.
He stated to The Hollywood Reporter about the season two finale, "It was one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever read in my lifetime, genuinely."
Meanwhile, Paramount+ has not verified whether season two will mark the end of 1923.
It started off being planned for just two seasons; however, Brandon mentioned: "While they have not officially stated whether it will end after season two, I had known from the beginning, even before we began filming season one, how things were supposed to progress."
[Taylor Sheridan] essentially informed me about the general direction of where things were headed, though not the exact details. I had always been somewhat aware of how it would conclude by the end of season two.
"The narrative will persist regardless of how things unfold, and frankly, I am unsure of what direction it might take. However, rest assured that there is still plenty of untold Dutton saga left to explore," he finished.
It currently seems improbable that the subsequent generation of Duttons will have their own series onscreen.
At present, Taylor Sheridan has no intentions for a new series centered around the Dutton family; however, he does have several other projects in the pipeline, such as a Yellowstone offshoot named The Madison.
The description of the Madison goes as follows: New York City The family living in the Madison River Valley of central Montana will be led by Michelle Pfeiffer.
