Currently, Dr. Corcoran acts as the Chief Development Officer at Formation Bio and holds considerable expertise in leading research and development efforts, having previously served at companies like Sio Gene Therapies, Allergan, and Stiefel Laboratories.
Dr. Corcoran showed excitement regarding the company's direction, highlighting the increasing acceptance of YCANTH®, Verrica’s therapy for molluscum contagiosum, along with the promise held by its research and development efforts in tackling unsatisfied demands within the field of dermatology.
With an M.B. B.Ch. degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, Dr. Corcoran finished her clinical training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
