In 2025, there has been a significant shift in how AEW and WWE disseminate their weekly content, with Netflix has started streaming "WWE Raw." While Max has started simulcasting "AEW Dynamite" and "AEW Collision," AEW President Tony Khan believes this step enhances AEW’s competitiveness.

Tony Khan mentioned during the pre-AEW Dynasty media call about significant international television agreements they’ve secured. He highlighted AEF’s substantial progress in England, noting double-digit growth for both ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Collision.’ According to him, their partnership with ITV in the UK has yielded impressive outcomes. Examining competitors like WWE, which shifted towards a streaming model, he believes numerous global regions present promising prospects for AEW expansion.

Khan states that with WWE shifting its worldwide broadcasting to Netflix, AEW has emerged as the top-rated wrestling show in the UK, thereby strengthening the company’s position in the nation.

"I believe this serves as an excellent illustration of our capability to make significant impacts within a market...by establishing strong connections with local fan bases," Khan stated, expressing his satisfaction over the country having hosted two of the largest AEW events ever organized by their company: All In 2023 and 2024.

AEW has started streaming on Max, with PPVs set to become accessible there shortly. as well as on Amazon Prime , starting with last month’s AEW Revolution event, AEW PPVs began airing.
