Tom Hanks has been referred to as an "absolute darling" By his co-star from Freaky Tales, LeQuan Bennett.
The duo stars in the action-comedy movie along with Pedro Pascal, rapper Too Short, and The late actor Angus Cloud from the show Euphoria . The movie follows four interconnected stories Regarding an NBA celebrity, a dishonest police officer, a pair of female rappers, young troublemakers, neo-Nazi groups, and a collections agent.
LeQuan has shared his experiences from the film production, acknowledging that it was quite an "illuminating shift to find himself rubbing shoulders with such accomplished individuals." Talking solely with The Mirror US , he added, "It's extremely informative."

LeQuan, portraying one of the Gilman punks in the film, mentioned that he gained valuable insights from observing how the actors prepared themselves, along with appreciating the creativity they brought forth and their communication methods with the directors.
The actor went on, saying, "This is like a prime view that many actors would probably be willing to pay for." Laughing, he added, "Luckily for me, they're paying me instead."
When discussing his co-actors, LeQuan commented, "Everyone in the cast was incredibly warm and receptive; they were all about fostering creativity and embracing new concepts. It was reassuring not to encounter any inflated egos, something one often worries about when joining forces with performers of such high stature."
He similarly referred to the cast as "complete darlings." LeQuan mentioned that working on the set of Freaky Tales felt like "a vast playground for creativity," adding that it was "enjoyable each day."
LeQuan was attracted to Freaky Tales because he has a weakness for everything from the '80s. The film takes place in 1987 in Oakland and revolves around characters involved in actual historical occurrences during that time.
LeQuan remarked, "That particular era resonates with me deeply. It evokes a sense of nostalgia along with a distinctive kind of vigor. This forms one aspect of my interest. However, each of the four narratives carries a motif of achieving against odds. Instinctively, I find myself drawn to individuals who might struggle to advocate for themselves or end up taken advantage of."
He went on, "My heart somehow connected with the essence of these tales." Freaky Tales hit theaters on April 4, and enthusiasts are already lauding the film.
