It seems Elon Musk received some assistance in making the decision to exit the White House.
As rumors circulate about Musk potentially returning to the private sector, it is suggested that a prominent figure from the White House might have discreetly facilitated his exit as the head of Tesla, a company owned by the wealthy entrepreneur.
According to The Daily Mail, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has become progressively frustrated with Elon Musk for not aligning his budget-reduction initiatives at the Department of Government Efficiency with the established White House hierarchy, which she heads.
The Daily Mail reported that Wiles, referred to as the "Ice Maiden," initiated a "ceaseless campaign" against Musk.
Politico reported that Musk had frequently sent top Trump staffers “into a frenzy with unexpected and off-message comments on X … including sharing unvetted and uncoordinated plans to gut federal agencies."
X is the social networking site now under Musk’s ownership and previously referred to as Twitter.
It was mentioned that both Wiles and Trump were caught off guard by the news that Musk had received briefings on classified war strategies involving China. This raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest due to Musk’s commercial activities in China.
When Musk was present, Trump informed cabinet members that he considered them responsible for their respective agencies, not Musk.
According to reports from Vanity Fair, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy criticized Elon Musk for reducing personnel in their departments without seeking their consent.
The last straw might have been when Musk invested millions of dollars into this week's highly disputed Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
A Democratic candidate emerged victorious in the election, ensuring that the party kept its dominance on the state Supreme Court, which was disappointing for both Trump and the White House.
Even after leaving, Musk is anticipated to remain a significant presence in the Trump circle, maintaining easy access to the president.
