Most of this came from Western states like California and Nevada, based on data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Since implementing this technology, the institution has seen a significant decrease in pollutants: CO2 emissions have dropped by 37%, SO2 levels by 73%, and NOx concentrations by 71%. Furthermore, it generates zero particulate matter, as 70% of its power comes from eco-friendly underground resources.
