The Pitt is moving towards its Season 1 finale with quite the cliffhanger: McKay ( Fiona Dourif ) is being arrested!
The penultimate episode concluded with the doctor having to deal with the repercussions of drilling a hole in her ankle bracelet during the mass casualty incident (resulting from a shooting at Pittfest) so as to save lives since it was repeatedly triggering alarms. As Dourif shared with TV Insider, she took necessary actions under those circumstances.
Anticipating the April 10 finale, the actress assured, "The writers tie up all the loose ends you've been curious about. I was greatly impressed with that script. We had been waiting for it, and upon receiving it, I found myself highly impressed by how many intricate details were flawlessly resolved."
Shawn Hatosy The actor who portrays Abbott mentioned that following the turmoil of episodes 12, 13, and 14, they will see medical scenarios returning to a more routine nature.
"There’s an increased desire to take actions that aren’t outlined in the official procedures for handling situations," he hinted. "So he takes initiative and bypasses Walsh [Tedra Millan], doing a few things that ultimately prove effective." He added with intrigue, "Additionally, there’s potential for Robby and Abbott to join forces, which somewhat flips what we observed in their initial encounter where the former discovered the latter atop the building.”
That moment in the final episode (which was directed by the executive producer) John Wells His favorite episode to shoot that season, as he mentioned, stood out because "it wasn’t just about showcasing these two lead doctors who share deep admiration for one another. It also involved young actors who began their journey under the guidance of John Wells and have experienced significant growth alongside him." Hatosy added, "The script was superbly written and executed perfectly, making it deeply rewarding for me personally."
