HARFORD COUNTY, MD – Mary Nasuta, who serves as the supervisor of health services for Harford County Public Schools, has been awarded the title of Maryland School Nurse Administrator of the Year.
Boasting over four decades as a registered nurse and three decades dedicated to school nursing, Nasuta lends extensive expertise to her position as the supervisor of health services. In this capacity, she manages a team of 75 professional nurses caring for 38,000 students and their families.
Nasuta, who holds national certification as a school nurse, previously served as the president and board member for both the Maryland Association of School Nurses and the National Association of School Nurses. Additionally, she works alongside the local health department as part of the Local Health Improvement Council.
