VIRGINIA ( DC News Now The Republican Party of Virginia announced on Thursday that they have nominated Jason Miyares as their candidate for Attorney General of Virginia.
The Republican Party of Virginia stated that Miyares’s "established success qualifies him as the evident candidate for re-nomination."
Throughout the last four years, Attorney General Miyares has fervently championed the individual freedoms and security of Virginians while safeguarding our state from the extreme progressive agendas coming out of Richmond and Washington, D.C. By curbing the influx of fentanyl, incarcerating dangerous offenders, defending Virginia against Joe Biden’s immigration policies, fortifying our electoral systems, combating firearm-related crimes, and backing police forces, he has transformed Virginia into a more secure and thriving environment for residents, professionals, and families alike," stated the Republican Party of Virginia as part of their message. "We anticipate his ongoing guidance in the times to come.
Miyares will run as the Republican nominee for the election on Nov. 4.
