Ohio gubernatorial hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy gave a passionate speech laying out his ideas for the region, which he thinks will play a central role in what he calls the "next Industrial Revolution."
On Friday, the ex-presidential candidate posted on X, asserting he would "trigger an economic surge in Ohio comparable to what was experienced during the initial Industrial Revolution." The post included a video detailing his comprehensive proposals for the state.
“I am deeply convinced that our state will take the lead once more,” Ramaswamy stated in a segment posted on X on Friday. “While Silicon Valley set the pace over the past decade, the Ohio River Valley is poised to do so for the coming ten years.”
The wealthy entrepreneur stated that his efforts would concentrate on "emerging sectors," such as biotechnology and cryptocurrency, specifically mentioning Bitcoin. Additionally, Ramaswamy discussed the role of artificial intelligence in transforming job markets rather than eliminating them. He explained that this transformation would be achieved via workforce development programs aimed at educating individuals so they can effectively utilize AI across various industries ranging from medical care to finance and architectural planning.

The Trump-backed politician Also referred to as Ohio being "fundamentally conservative at heart," where Trump has won the past three elections in this battleground state.
"We're a conservative state in our electorate. It's time for us to actually be fully governed like one that's not gonna lose us elections; that will win us elections because it's gonna put more money in your pocket. It's gonna life more people from poverty," Ramaswamy stated.
