Many individuals took to the streets in various European cities on Saturday to demonstrate against U.S. President Donald Trump and advisor Elon Musk.
This came after a tumultuous week for financial markets following Trump’s announcement of extensive worldwide tariffs.
In Frankfurt, Germany, the protest was allegedly organized by Democrats Abroad, which is the official body representing members of the Democratic Party who reside outside the United States.
Demonstrators in Berlin carried signs urging U.S. citizens residing in Germany to join them in protesting the turmoil occurring in their homeland.
The protesters assembled at Opernplatz, Frankfurt, called for Trump's resignation, holding signs that said "Reinstate Democracy," "Stay away from our private information," and "Donald, the globe has had enough of your nonsense—step down!"
According to DAILY POST, in Berlin, messages aimed at Musk included slogans like "Silence Elon, nobody elected you." There was also a dog wearing a sign that stated “Dogs Against the Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE,” which represents a scheme spearheaded by senior advisor Musk as part of what some call the hypothetical second Trump administration’s efforts to cut down on government expenditure, tackling issues such as waste, fraud, and misuse of funds.
In Paris, the capital of France, approximately 200 individuals, largely from America, assembled at the Place de la République to demonstrate against Trump.
