It appears that Princess Alexandra of Hanover (25) has acquired her penchant for style from her well-known mother. As the younger child of Princess Caroline of Hanover (68), she is now being featured as a model in the Spanish edition of "Elle."
Concerning her feature in the April edition, it mentions: "She is among the most obscure European 'monarchs' across Europe... as of now." Alexandra has successfully "merged her ancestral legacy with an existence marked by modesty and her passion for learning."
Intimate Bond with Her Brothers and Sisters
During the included interview, the young princess shared several personal insights. “There are moments when I strongly sense my connection to my Monégasque roots, and at other times, I find myself identifying more closely with my German and Austrian ancestry.” Her bond with her elder half-brothers and sisters is particularly strong: “They mean everything to me, being one of the key aspects of my life.” Having siblings who are much older than she is has proven beneficial: “This dynamic eased my transition through childhood and adolescence.”
Her family has taught her values such as "kindness, good manners, and a sense of humor." At age 25, she characterizes herself as "creative, sensitive, and empathetic." Following studies in Political Science, History, and Literature both in New York and Paris, she envisions her upcoming years as being "artistically rewarding." She mentions having specific objectives for the near term; however, she prefers leaving long-term plans open to change according to what her future self deems fit. Entering the world of modeling appears to be more of an anomaly; instead, her true passion lies with writing. Although she hints at certain concepts and initiatives currently brewing in her mind, she feels it’s premature to elaborate further.
Regarding His Mother: "She Is Extremely Courageous"
She looks up to her mother, a fan of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, for her fortitude and composure under all circumstances. "My mom is exceptionally courageous and never loses her cool. Despite facing numerous challenges, she remains remarkably resilient yet serene," she explains. "I have always felt secure knowing I can turn to her with any issue; we tackle everything methodically and peacefully."
Princess Alexandra is the sole offspring of Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst August of Hanover (aged 71). They got married back in 1999, though they haven’t appeared publicly as a pair in quite some time now. Through her previous union with Stefano Casiraghi—who passed away tragically at age 30—Caroline became a mother to Andrea (who is currently 40), Charlotte (now aged 38), and Pierre (at 37 years old).
