US president Donald Trump His new set of tariffs has sparked economic turmoil and unsettled the markets, and amid the turmoil, people recognized that the Republican has imposed tariffs on an Australian territory that has no residents — just penguins and seals.

Referred to as the Heard Island and McDonald Islands, these locations are some of the most isolated spots on the planet, yet this didn't prevent Trump from imposing a 10 percent tariff on products destined for the U.S.

Ignoring the impossibility of penguins and seals managing trade, reaching these islands requires a two-week journey by sea from Perth, which lies on the western coastline. Australia .

Now, the penguins are retaliating – at least through a social media account, since that’s how things get done online nowadays.
