It presents a fantastic chance for life science and healthcare firms developing their offerings, particularly those emerging from universities seeking a suitable location," stated Monique Brown, who recently took up the role as the Knowledge Community Director of Connect Labs at Wexford Science and Technology. "Acquiring such resources independently can be quite costly, especially for smaller businesses.

According to UC Davis, Wexford Connected Labs provides equipped laboratories, offices, and shared workspace areas complete with meeting rooms and a well-stocked kitchen.

The facility will similarly delve into hosting networking events, providing investor info sessions, and offering talent development programs.

The objective is to establish collaborations between industries and innovators aimed at fostering growth for health and life sciences businesses, enabling these entities to remain within the area as they expand," Brown stated. "Our aim is for them to develop locally, receive backing from the university, and collaborate with industry stakeholders who have an interest in cutting-edge fields.
