With numerous memorable advertisements, exciting contests, and his famous blueberry muffin promotions, Eliot Tatelman turned Jordan's Furniture into an iconic presence throughout New England.
Now, he's handing over the reins to the upcoming generation.

I have found great joy being part of this company," Tatelman stated. "Starting from those initial days with my sibling Barry to seeing us grow into a recognized and trusted brand, Jordan’s has consistently embodied values of family, community, and exceptional customer service.
Not only has Tatelman represented Jordan's — a business established over 90 years ago by his grandfather — but he has also been central to its operations. This involved ensuring that initiatives such as the Jordan's Coats for Kids program remained integral parts of the company’s ethos.
He stated, 'I believe it’s a duty tied to success for anyone capable of doing so.' He further explained, 'Anyone acknowledged as somewhat famous should feel an obligation to contribute something back.'
The daily operations of the company will now be handed over to Tatelman's sons, Josh and Michael, who have served as co-CEOs of Jordan's since 2019.
Both our father and uncle developed something really remarkable," stated Josh Tatelman. "They turned purchasing furniture into an engaging, enjoyable, and communal experience.
"Maintaining a people-centric ethos and our dedication to contributing positively to the communities we serve will forever remain at the core of what defines us," Michael Tatelman emphasized.
According to Eliot Tatelman, this isn’t farewell. He expressed his enthusiasm about remaining engaged with the company he co-founded and possibly making appearances in some of the advertisements that have turned him into a familiar face in New England.
“I’m akin to the mascot for Jordans,” he stated. “I’m similar to how Wally is for the Red Sox. That’s just my identity.”
