Former MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan initiated a harsh critique of the Vice President JD Vance due to his assertion that the Trump administration did not err in deporting an individual legally protected immigrant To a notoriously large jail in El Salvador.
Hasan on Thursday took on the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father with protected status who the Trump administration admitted falsely identifying as a gang member prior to boarding him onto a flight destined for El Salvador — even though he had no record of violent crime.

The candid British broadcaster proceeded to criticize what they called the "blatant dishonesty" that Vance has allegedly persisted with since asserting this claim to a journalist. social media post that a legal filing apparently indicates the individual was “a convicted MS-13 gang member without any lawful claim to being here."

Hasan went on relentlessly criticizing Vance as he addressed the audience saying, "Consider what sort of person you must be when you're caught in a falsehood, then insist even more strongly on your deception; refusing to acknowledge his error in using 'convicted,' and instead asserting that 'a judge made this determination.'"
The ex-MSNBC presenter determined from the show that Vance, who propagated the completely untrue assertion about migrants consuming dogs and cats during the 2024 election it is "worse in numerous aspects compared to both Musk and Trump."
Since JD Vance is known as the Yale Law graduate, the intellectual voice of the right, the author of a best-selling memoir, the man married to a woman of color, and someone with modest beginnings that neither Musk nor Trump can claim, Hasan explained.
