EXCLUSIVE: Mitchell Gossett, a seasoned talent representative, has been promoted to Partner at Industry Entertainment.
In the 1990s, Gossett embarked on his extensive managerial journey with his own company before transitioning to CED Talent Agency in 2001. This agency has earned recognition for spotting up-and-coming talent among younger performers. After a fruitful period at CED, he relocated to UTA as an agent, representing notable artists such as Zendaya, Kiernan Shipka, Dylan Minnette, Bel Powley, Victoria Justice, Miley Cyrus, and more.
In 2012, he came back to CESD as the Senior Vice President overseeing Movie and TV Talent departments in both New York and Los Angeles. There, he developed an esteemed system for identifying and nurturing new acting talent.
Gossett has mentored the careers of numerous talents including Jennifer Lawrence, Michael B. Jordan, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Bell, Demi Lovato, and Lucy Hale as well as Hayden Panettiere, Sean Giambrone, Miranda Cosgrove, Thomasin McKenzie, and Darren Criss. Among his present clients is Antonia Gentry. Gossett possesses an MFA in Acting from Cornell University and has attended NYU’s School of the Arts as well as The National Theatre of Britain. Additionally, he conducts acting workshops across the country and advocates for diversity and inclusivity programs within the entertainment sector.
