The dispute over a shelved Warner Bros. film has come to an end as the studio struck a deal with Ketchup Entertainment. Coyote vs. Acme will now be made available, although not immediately.

According to The Wrap Ketchup Entertainment has obtained global distribution rights for the live-action/CG hybrid movie from Warner Bros., as stated on Monday. While the financial details of the agreement have not been formally revealed, sources close to the matter estimate the transaction value to be approximately $50 million.

Coyote vs. Acme Was put aside with the intention of serving as a tax write-off for Warner Bros., as they remain focused on cutting costs under David Zaslav’s leadership at Discovery. Eventually, though, they began exploring the possibility of selling the rights instead.
Initially aiming for a price range of $75-85 million, Warner aimed at high-end bidders such as Amazon, Netflix, and Paramount. However, these companies declined, leaving Ketchup to step in and initiate talks. All this transpired during their earlier purchase related to the Looney Tunes franchise. The Day the Earth Exploded , is in theaters.
It seems Warner is pleased with how the film is doing since they have confidence in Ketchup, a recent and modestly sized company, to handle things. Coyote vs. Acme The exposure that both the fans and its creators have been eagerly awaiting.
In this movie, Will Forte plays the role of Wile E. Coyote’s legal representative who brings Acme to court due to faulty traps provided during his unsuccessful attempt to catch The Roadrunner. Additionally, John Cena portrays the defending counsel in the case.

Forte could be celebrating quite enthusiastically following this announcement, considering his dual roles as an actor and comedian. MacGruber Star angrily conveyed his dissatisfaction over Warner’s choice to postpone the release of the film for an extended period. He referred to the decision as nonsense back in February.
“I thought it was complete nonsense. It’s such a wonderful film. It deserved far more than what it received,” he stated. MovieWeb “I can’t explain why the choice was made not to release it. However, it really gets under my skin,” he brought it up.
However, no release date has been announced yet. Coyote vs. Acme is anticipated to illuminate the scene by late 2026.
