This week, ex-Vice President Kamala Harris addressed an audience at the
Leading Women Defined Summit
regarding the disorder and dread experienced by numerous Americans.
"There is an atmosphere of fear gripping our nation...and I comprehend it," she conveyed to the audience.
We observe individuals remaining silent. We notice organizations also staying mute. We see entities succumbing to manifestly unconstitutional demands. These are occurrences we witness daily over recent months within our nation. This understandably instills significant dread among many.
"Because, as you all know, there were several outcomes we anticipated," she went on, and the individuals in the audience voiced their assent.
She laughed as she said, 'My purpose isn’t to remark “I told you so.”’ She exclaimed, ‘I promised myself I wouldn’t say that!'
One person commented, ‘She’s really the only one entitled to use the “I told you so” line,’
"Not to revisit an old point, but I genuinely cannot fathom being part of this timeline where she didn’t win and Trump became president. It’s not like she’d have done everything perfectly, but goodness knows we wouldn’t be facing our current predicament. Honestly, I remain utterly astonished." Another individual concurred.
