Jared Leto and Jeff Bridges Unveil Sinister 'Tron: Ares' Laser-Filled Tease at CinemaCon

The clip began with an overhead view of a bustling metropolis where motorcycles adorned with red lights sped along the highway, closely followed by a police cruiser. The vehicles fired lasers powerful enough to slice through the pursuing car. In a voice-over, Ares remarks, “I’m searching for answers I can’t comprehend.” Further scenes depict Ares as a group of spacecraft descends onto the city, causing terrified civilians to gaze upward in alarm (among them, a policeman portrayed by Lee). To conclude this foreboding preview, Bridges’ character—a video game developer—states in his narration, “It’s too late to turn back now.”

Directed by Maleficent: Mistress of Evil's Joachim Ronning, Tron: Ares The ensemble features actors such as Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson. The production team includes Jared Leto, Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger as producers, with Russell Allen acting as an executive producer. Writers credited for this project are Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne, developing from characters originally crafted by Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird.
