House GOP Leader Set to Be First to Publicly Challenge Trump’s Tariff Authority

Bacon’s shift represents an uncommon action within the highly Trump-supportive House Republican caucus, as highlighted in the report. The Senate legislation was introduced by Senators Maria Cantwell from Washington State (Democrat) and Chuck Grassley from Iowa (Republican).
