Nashville’s entertainment district is set to receive a vibrant dose of West Coast hip-hop as rap icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg plan to open a new lounge on Lower Broadway's Second Avenue.
On April 4th, the "Still G.I.N. Lounge By Dre and Snoop" will debut at 128 2nd Ave. N., marking the newest feature within the basement-level lounge of the sprawling Nashville Live! complex which spans four floors and encompasses 50,000 square feet.
The news comes as Nashville's mainstream country industry continues to blend sounds with West Coast hip-hop flavors.

According to a press release describing the establishment, The Still G.I.N. Lounge aims to offer an "enhanced evening entertainment setting" where you can find "the West Coast’s flair combined with Southern spirit." This place intends to merge "a high-end bar atmosphere characterized by refined elegance along with the vibrant dynamism and notable impact of the iconic pair."
DJs, live performances and playlists will be "inspired by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg" and "bring the best of hip-hop, R&B and funk, setting the tone for unforgettable nights," venue representatives said. Top-shelf cocktails will feature "the duo’s flagship new spirit offering, Still G.I.N. By Dre and Snoop."

- The "Bee’s Knees" featuring zesty lemon, natural wildflower honey, apricot liqueur, and lavender
- The OG-OF is a bourbon-based Old Fashioned with a touch of butter pecan flavor.

Snoop, Dre, and a year filled with influences from Nashville
A year ago, HARDY collaborated with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre for a liquor-inspired cover from the latters' 1994 hip-hop masterpiece "Gin and Juice."
