These include significant tariff increases, reductions in government programs, and widespread furloughs of federal employees. Protesters argue these actions jeopardize vital public services, weaken support systems for vulnerable populations, lead to increased costs, and negatively impact economic stability and stock markets.
In downtown Los Angeles, participants plan to bring a 20-foot inflatable depicting President Donald Trump in a diaper alongside another 15-foot helium-filled figure showing him in a Russian military outfit. These balloons will be part of a protest walk covering almost a mile-long route starting from Pershing Square at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Roxanne Hoge, the chairman of the Los Angeles County Republican Party, stated that these protests will not influence the Trump administration in any way.
“Radical leftists are protesting President Donald Trump with marches and a parade balloon?” she told City News Service. “Their boring, predictable tantrums are now part of the L.A. landscape, much like the dilapidated RVs and dangerous encampments that their policies result in. We are interested in good governance and public safety, and wish our Democrat friends would join us in advocating for both.”
The speakers scheduled for a rally at City Hall on Saturday evening will feature actress Jodie Sweetin along with comedian Francesca Fiorentino.
"We're only about two months into Trump's turmoil, and the nation is struggling with his hasty dismissal of millions of employees, the separation of tens of thousands of families, along with his intentions to cut funds for healthcare and Social Security," states organizer Emily Williams.

A minimum of 100 demonstrations and rallies are scheduled across the area for this coming Saturday, with some taking place in Glendale, Riverside, and Santa Ana. According to the Hands Off! website, participating organizations will likely encompass groups such as the ACLU, 50501 SoCal, Greenpeace, League of Women Voters, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and Working Families Power.
Despite not having commented on the upcoming event, Trump’s administration disclosed that they are shifting the date for one of their traditional spring garden tours scheduled for Saturday. This change comes as organizers have dubbed this planned massive protest against Trump as a "day of mass mobilization," anticipating a significant demonstration likely to occur close to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
"Those who believe that demonstrations, legal actions, and litigation can dissuade President Trump from his course of action must have been oblivious to recent events," stated White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt in a communication with USA Saturday.

— Social Security Administration outdoor plaza, located at 225 West Broadway, Glendale, at noon;
— Culver City Hall, located at 9770 Culver Boulevard, at noon;
— Plaza Pasadena, 281 E. Colorado Boulevard, at midday;
— At the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and North Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz, at 11 a.m.;
— Torrance City Hall, located at 3031 Torrance Boulevard, at noon;
— Wardlow and Del Amo Metro Station at 3420 N. Pacific Place, Long Beach; " Hands Off! " protest train from 2 to 3 p.m., heading to the DTLA march;
— City of Lakewood, 5050 Clark Avenue, at noon;
— Food 4 Less, located at 12222 E. Carson Street, Hawaiian Gardens, opens at 10 a.m.;
— In downtown Riverside, along Market Street and University Avenue, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; and
— Sasscer Park, 600 W. Santa Ana Blvd., Santa Ana, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
