A public health warning has been released regarding white chicken chili items distributed by Costco.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture along with Costco issued an alert concerning packs of Allen Family Food White Chicken Chili, as these products failed to undergo the required import reinspection by the department’s Food Safety Inspection Service.
The items were available for purchase between March 27 and March 31 at various Costco locations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Although a recall has not been initiated, the warning advises against consuming these items.
No negative effects from using this product have been reported so far.
Products can be brought back to a nearby Costco store for a complete reimbursement.
