GRAND TRAVERSE County, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — The North Ed Career Tech Center in Traverse City organized a career fair, welcoming students to discover various employment options offered by local businesses.
The expo-style event included participation from 85 delegates representing local and regional enterprises.
Over 1,200 students participated in the event, where several received job offers for summertime work that aligns with their future careers.
One of our most cherished events of the year occurs today for our educators, learners, and partnerships with businesses and industries," stated Patrick Lamb, who leads Career Technical Education. "This event serves as a great opportunity to present our students to our community collaborators and corporate sponsors. Frequently, these guests depart after recruiting our students for various roles, making this a highly anticipated occasion.
For more than 15 years, the center has hosted its career fair, offering students an opportunity to interact with prospective employers and learn about different professional sectors.
