City Leaders and Dreamville Team Unveil New Music Festival Set for Raleigh

Brinton Hayes, who graduated from NCCU, has been putting in long hours to ensure his upcoming bar, District on Glenwood Avenue, opens in time for the Dreamville festival. He mentioned that events such as Dreamville play a crucial role in keeping his entrepreneurial aspirations alive throughout the year.

"It has been incredible. The number of individuals I’ve encountered who aren’t even based in Raleigh but have come to the region solely due to this event is impressive. This whole experience has been outstanding. I genuinely hope they keep it up as it’s truly beneficial not just for Raleigh but for the entire state of North Carolina," Hayes mentioned.

The upcoming festival will feature Dreamville and J. Cole, though organizers haven't finalized a name for it yet. The event is set to occur at Dix Park and will include many of the same performers and key figures behind bringing Dreamville to Raleigh.
