Cancelled!: What Happens Now?

A planned boxing match between former UFC champions Quinton Jackson and Rashad Evans next weekend has been canceled due to unfulfilled “contractual obligations.”

According to both "Rampage" and Evans, they each turned to social media on Friday evening to share the "dismal news."

No one particularly requested a rematch between Jackson and Evans, but the previous adversaries were delighted to face each other again. This encounter would take place within the confines of a boxing ring at the forthcoming ICS Mania 1 event on April 12 at The Pit in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Unfortunately, it seems that Signature Punch Promotions failed to uphold their part of the agreement, which led to "Rampage" and Evans having to withdraw from the contest. While all specifics aren't clear yet, do not anticipate these previous UFC titleholders will go ahead with the bout later this month (regardless of what ICS Boxing might say ).

This choice was one we weren’t keen on making. We understood how excited the fans were for the event, and our team shared their enthusiasm. However, we faced unforeseen difficulties during the promotional phase, and several crucial contractual requirements haven't been fulfilled as expected.
