Princess Kate's sibling James Middleton has expressed his backing for Prince William following the significant declaration from the Prince of Wales.
The Prince of Wales has announced that his Earthshot Prize will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil later this year.
The renowned international environmental award will host its yearly multiple-day festivities in South America for the very first time.
James Middleton showed his backing for Prince William by liking one of his posts on social media.
The gathering will bring together creators, financiers, do-gooders, and environmental experts from across the globe.
The announcement was made in a video that included Prince William along with Earthshot Prize Trustees Dame Christiana Figueres and Dame Jacinda Ardern.
The Earthshot Prize Council members Cate Blanchett and Nemonte Nenquimo were featured in the announcement as well.
A number of international ambassadors and famous personalities who have backed the Prize were highlighted, featuring individuals such as Robert Irwin, Nomzamo Mbatha, Billy Porter, David Beckham, Hannah Waddingham, and Heidi Klum.
Cafu, Maju Coutinho, Marcos Palmeira, and Mauro Silva, who are Brazilian celebrities, also took part in the announcement.
The Earthshot Prize is set to organize various gatherings aimed at highlighting some of the globe’s leading environmental innovations and solutions.
These initiatives strive to stimulate backing and financial investments to amplify their reach and effectiveness.
The festivities will reach their peak at the yearly award event, during which five worldwide initiatives will be granted £1 million each to aid in their ongoing development.

It has acknowledged and assisted 60 innovators via its Fellowship Program.
The prize has distributed £20 million to winners to assist in scaling their solutions.
