BUCKEYE, AZ (AZFamily) — On Wednesday, four individuals were detained following a altercation at a Buckeye elementary school that included someone armed with a firearm.
This occurred approximately at 4 p.m. Freedom Elementary School , close to Dean Road on Sundance Parkway South Just south of Yuma Road, the incident began as schools were letting out for the day, according to police statements.
According to detectives, two teenage girls aged 15 and 17, along with a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man carrying a firearm, have been taken into custody. Neither of the minors involved attend Freedom Elementary School. Fortunately, nobody sustained injuries during this incident. The specific charges these individuals may face remain undetermined.
The police did not disclose what prompted the altercation.
