Prince Andrew was seen horseback riding in Windsor after a challenging week marred by scandal.

The former Duke of York, aged 65, looked grim as he took part in his usual equestrian outing.

Accompanied by a woman, he was completely clad in dark blue.

The king appeared visibly preoccupied as he moved through the Windsor estate.

Following a week where Andrew once more made news headlines, this public appearance has now taken place.

News outlets were filled with Virginia Giuffre's striking allegations regarding a bus crash.

Ms. Giuffre previously secured a multimillion-dollar settlement from Prince Andrew after alleging that she was coerced into having sexual encounters with him at age 17.

New court papers released on Friday unveiled troubling information regarding the Duke’s associate, Yang Tengbo.

Ms. Giuffre, who is 41 years old, shared on social media earlier this week that she sustained significant injuries from an accident.

She informed her Instagram followers that she only had "four days left to live" following an accident where her vehicle collided with a school bus.

"I won’t burden anyone with the specifics, but it’s crucial to mention that when a school bus driver approaches you at 110 km/h while you’re decelerating for a turn, regardless of your vehicle’s construction, it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote.

She stated that the incident resulted in kidney failure for her.

The posting featured an image of her with a battered face; nonetheless, she subsequently retracted this via a representative.

The clarification stated that the sharing of the post on Instagram occurred accidentally, and intended visibility was solely for her private Facebook profile.

The Duke's week became even more complex due to disclosures in recently unveiled court papers.

These documents revealed that Yang Tengbo, who was accused of being a spy connected to Andrew, was asked to attend meetings with King Charles on two occasions.

A statement provided by Andrew's trusted assistant Dominic Hampshire disclosed these interactions with members of the royal family.

In these gatherings, the Duke, along with his assistant, and the King talked about the future opportunities for Andrew.

Specifically, they discussed "what actions the Duke can take going forward that would be satisfactory to His Majesty."

Earlier, the government had raised worries that Yang was trying to manipulate the prince.

These conversations were triggered after Andrew’s professional prospects diminished subsequent to disclosures regarding his association with the Duke of York, who was known for his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

The suspected spy was extended an invitation to Andrew's 60th birthday celebration.

He played a key role in initiating the Duke's Pitch@Palace investment tour in China, which mirrors the format of Dragon's Den.

The palace has kept the king uninformed about Yang's history.

A representative from the palace stated: “Although His Majesty convened meetings with The Duke and his advisor during the previous year to discuss preliminary plans for autonomous financing, the person referred to as H6 was never brought up in these conversations either directly or indirectly.”
