GREENVILLE, Pitt County — The 18th yearly PirateFest has begun!
Raiders from across eastern North Carolina are converging at this park on First Street.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Executive Director of the Downtown Greenville Partnership, Troy Dreyfus, oversees PirateFest, and he informs me that this event is the largest one to date.
This is the community's largest festival, where everyone is invited! It's completely free, making it the highlight of the year. Join us on First Street at the Town Common for what promises to be perfect weather. All forms of entertainment are complimentary—expect fantastic live tunes, local vendors selling delicious foods and beverages, opportunities for retail therapy, and even pirate-themed fun.
Part of the fun will involve sword fights and sea shanties. The event is open to people of all ages, and dressing up as pirates is highly encouraged.
